All I want to do is learn to sew.  Yes, I somehow misplaced my power cord/foot control, but is that any reason I should be punished?  Am I the first person in the world to do that?  Apparently so, because no one seems to be able to tell me how to get a replacement…with the exception of the one website I found where I can order it for $50.  $50 for a power cord seems a little steep to me, but if I can’t find it anywhere else, I suppose I will have to suck it up and pay.  It’s just kind of annoying though.  I just want to be able to use my sewing machine.  Is that too much to ask?

If you don’t necessarily want your own domain name, you can get one for absolutely free. Go to http://wordpress.com/ and sign up for a free account. The only difference between that and what I have is instead of having www.amberswebsite.com (or whatever you could call it) you would have amberswebsite.wordpress.com. You can still make it look however you want, but you won’t have to pay for a domain name or for web hosting.

Actually Allea…with free wordpress you can’t customize your template. That’s the only reason I haven’t switched over from blogger. The templates wordpress offers aren’t really to my liking, and if they’re hosting your blog for you they won’t let you change it.

One time in Fashion Design 3 I lost my bobbin. I moved to another sewing machine when the teacher wasn’t looking. Then I took my project home to finish it and broke my moms sewing machine.

    I don’t think she knows.

Amber…if we’re anywhere near a computer in Charlotte, I’ll show you your options, ok?

DANG… $50 for a cord…. but i guess if the sewing machine is in good condition then it’s worth it. if the sewing machine isn’t though…. maybe a new super cool electrinc machine by elna would have been better (it has an automatic button-holer!). however, those cost 3 G’s…. yikes. is it bad to dream about cool sewing machines? :) just wanted to say howdy! so howdy!

Turned out alright. Super-sweet Mom Silloway bought it for me as a “late birthday present”. So incredibly nice of her!
