Wishing everyone a happy Independence Day!
And in other pretty much unrelated news…
It has recently been brought to my attention (thanks to Google Analytics) that the vast majority of the visitors to this site are still using Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this site doesn’t display properly in IE (thank you Microsoft for your unwillingness to follow standards). So if you want to see what my site (and countless others) are actually supposed to look like, you should visit http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and download Firefox (for free). You’ll thank me…or at least you won’t think I don’t know how to make a working website anymore.

When I came to do some Allea-reading, I noticed that on your upcoming events August 8th is sneak zucchini onto your neighbors porch day. This made me laugh because in high school (newspaper class) I wrote an article on strange days and where they came from, etc. and that was one of them. Wow, high school was a long time ago now.
